Special visit alert! We were honored to welcome Governor Hobbs and representatives from the Arizona Food Bank Network to Madison Park Middle School yesterday. The Governor’s visit highlighted the important funding that was recently approved by the state, which makes school meals FREE this year for families who qualify for reduced-price meals.
Thank you, Governor Hobbs, for supporting student wellness and access to nutritious meals across our state!

Congratulations to our Food & Nutrition Services team for receiving the Gold Award for the 2024 Summer Farm Fresh Challenge from the Arizona Department of Education’s Health & Nutrition Services! The Farm Fresh Challenge is an initiative to empower child nutrition program operators to create excitement around fresh and locally sourced foods. This challenge included activities focused on Taste, Teach and Connect.

The campus of Madison Park Middle School, originally constructed in the mid 1950s, is currently undergoing a rebuild.

Adriana López, social worker at Madison Park Middle School, was recently named the 2023 School Social Worker of the Year by the School Social Work Association of Arizona

Madison Park Middle School Cafeteria Manager Cecelia Araiza has been named Manager of the Year by the School Nutrition Association.
